George

Companion to Debbie & Roger Lawrence.

George

"George... he allowed my daughter Kate to give him our house 12 years ago, and continues to allow Mum and Dad (Debbie & Roger) to live with him despite the fact that she has now left home." - Roger

Oh wicked George,
Oh wicked lout,
Butter wouldn't melt
In that innocent mouth?

Angelic silence,
No colourful prose,
To explain the scars
Upon his nose.

No tales of battle,
No reasons why,
He sits uneasy
On a war torn thigh.

Just misleading
Pleading purrs,
All cuddly kitten,
'I'll have tea first,'

And then I'll tell,
The beans I'll spill,
Of daring do...
But he never will!
