Purrfect Homes Needed

"Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace." - Dr. Albert Schweitzer

Maxine & Two Kittens

The Cats Protection charity in Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) is appealing to residents to help re-home the hundreds of cats they receive each year.

The national charity which treats animals from all over the region, relies on volunteers to foster cats until they are well enough to go to a permanent home.

After cats are brought to the organisation they are fostered, neutered and treated for any ailments. Once the cats are healthy they can be re-homed.

Debbie Brookes, one of the volunteers, said that the organisation has only limited resources. The Cats Protection also run a helpline which people can phone up if a cat has a problem.

If anyone is interested in fostering cats or in taking in a cat on a permanent basis phone the Cats Protection helpline on: 01902-304980 (Wolverhampton - United Kingdom).

See: Cats Protection for more details on the charity.
